Where do I find help for my son who cares for his girlfriend who has been diagnosed with Borderline/BiPolar. He lives in a rural area, he tries to work full time in a very demanding job. He is unable to keep connected with his own family except by phone and I worry he is becoming depressed himself. There doesn't seem to be any ongoing support for him.

buzzii,

Because services are mostly delivered at the area health service level, we would need more information from you to provide an answer to your question. There are a number of services which may be of benefit to your son, even in a rural area. It would perhaps be simplest if you could give us a call on 1 800 655 198 or use the form provided under "Contact Us" on the home page to send us an email.

Regards,

Gerard
