Hello

I have just stumbled across this website while looking up depression support for my 12 year old daughter.

She was diagnosed with severe depression  several months ago and has recently been hospitalised twice for suicide watch and overdosing on her medication. Every day is a struggle and her depression seems to have morphed into anger so quickly. She is scarcely the daughter I have known for the past 12 years and is now demanding total freedom and no responsibility as a cure for her depression. It is so difficult for me to know how to deal with her and what boundaries to put in place. I would love to talk to anyone in a similar situation or if anyone knows of anywhere to get support/advice for me as her parent I would really appreciate it.

kind Regards

Simone
