The Centre for Family-Based Mental Health Care is looking for a part time postdoctoral researcher with specialist competencies in epidemiology and clinical trials.
The Centre for Family-Based Mental Health Care is located a St. Vincent’s Hospitals Sydney. The Centre aims at developing and implementing new models of health care delivery that emphasises family and community engagement.
Among several research initiatives, the Centre is very interested in studying and testing the Finnish Open Dialogue approach to collaborative health care delivery. Several qualitative implementation studies are currently taking place at the Centre.
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with specialist competencies in epidemiology and clinical trials who will join our team in testing our first small-scale family interventions; designing, executing, and publishing research linked to the next round of implementations; and developing large-scale funding applications for future trials.
We are looking for an independent researcher who can work with administrators and health care professionals at all the clinical sites the Centre is engaged.
We are looking for a researcher who can join a small research team in developing ideas, and make them researchable.
The position is part-time, up to .5 FTE, for up to three years.
